"When I joined the Access Fellowship Programme, I was feeling very lost. I couldn't make it to the JC of my choice, so I took the Poly route. I was questioning my choice, especially since many around me told me I had made the wrong decision and that I was going to "make my life much harder". I was already unsure of going down this route, and all this noise was just adding to my anxiety and confusion.
After joining the programme, I met mentors who had faced their fair share of setbacks and moments of confusion. I then slowly came to accept that things don't always go according to plan - and that's totally fine!
This programme has shown me that all roads lead to Rome. If something doesn't work out, try something else. Mistakes or setbacks don't define your future; how you bounce back does."

Access is a social mobility charity providing career exposure opportunities for disadvantaged students in Singapore. We provide early intervention programmes that aim to help them explore different career paths, receive mentorship and guidance from industry professionals, and gain crucial workplace skills and experiences.
